Julian sleeps, dreaming about singing saws. He is awoken by Coco knocking on his door, and he sends him off. But Coco comes back the next night, and the next night, until Julian opens the door for him. They slowly increase their social interaction each night, until finally Julian tells him a story, effectively hypnotizing him until Julian can "disappear."
One day, Julian tells a story about how he can disappear by telling people stories that don't make any sense. The example he gives is when he stopped Leticia by saying that she was nothing like his childhood bully Alari.
When the story ends this time, Julian is still there.
